Digital Model Perspective
Linking Lives is the culmination of the design and research of the Los Angeles Senate Bill 9. This bill changes existing limits on how many homes can be built on a lot zoned as single-family as a means to mitigate the housing crisis within an already dense living environment. Led by the design process of producing many study models, I came upon a form that breaks the existing Gregory Ain Mar Vista house into a functional triplex for an extended family unit arrangement.
